About This Tour

There's no more fitting way to explore Austin's haunted history than from inside a classic Cadillac hearse — converted into a one-of-a-kind spooky limousine. You'll visit historic Austin locations reportedly haunted or linked to documented paranormal activity, including the Clay Pit, Littlefield House at UT, and more.

Guests get out of the hearse frequently and go inside some establishments along the route. Walking is minimal, though there are a couple of staircases. Your guide will be dressed in full spooky attire and ready to make the night unforgettable.

Sodas and water are waiting on ice. You're welcome to bring your own beverages and spirits — just keep coolers compact since space inside the hearse is limited.

Price

$99 per ticket. Gratuity is not included — see gratuity guidelines below.

Availability

Tours run every night except Monday at 7:00 PM. Weekend matinee tours at 3 PM and 4 PM open up when evening tours sell out. During Halloween week, all hearse tours go public with additional 8:00 PM slots to accommodate more guests.

Minimum Party Size

We require at least 2 people to run the tour. You may book individual tickets and join other groups.

Maximum Party Size

Up to 6 seats may be booked online. Six adults is typically the maximum comfortable fit, though groups with one extra person or with children may be able to squeeze in. Contact us if you'd like to book more than 6.

Age

Due to tour content, we recommend guests be 13 and up. For younger guests, please consider our Private Hearse Tour.

Meeting Point

All guests meet at Walter's Tavern, 2336 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78704 at tour time. Arrive early if you'd like to order food or drinks before the tour. Please do not be late!

Tour Length

Tours last approximately 3 hours.

Drinks

We provide water, sodas, cups, bottle openers, and ice. You're welcome to bring your own alcoholic beverages — just keep coolers compact since space inside the hearse is limited.

Cancellation Policy

Space is limited and seats cannot be re-sold once reserved.

• No-shows, same-day cancellations, and cancellations with less than 48 hours notice: no refund
• Canceled 2–7 days before your tour: 50% refund
• Canceled 7 or more days before your tour: full refund
