Ready to get hands on with the spirits? Haunted ATX is proud to offer a deep dive into the paranormal with the spirits that haunt The Clay Pit at The Bertram Building! Come join us every Saturday night for an intimate opportunity to explore and communicate with our friends on the other side.

The Bertram Building was once a general store opened in the 1850s by the Bertram family. This paranormal investigation experience provides the chance to communicate with all spirits in the building, including one of our youngest friends who was a child of the original Bertram family. Your guide will give you the background of the Bertrams and fascinating history of the building. You'll learn about our investigative equipment before trying your hand at communicating with the paranormal and experiencing everything The Clay Pit has to offer. Guests are welcome to bring their own equipment for the investigation as well! Please note, there will be light walking and stairs so guests are encouraged to dress comfortably. Tickets for the Paranormal Investigation Experience are $59 per person, not including tax or gratuity.

Private Paranormal Investigation Experience

We also offer a Private Paranormal Investigation Experience for those who want to investigate with just your group. Private investigations are typically held on Friday nights at 10:30pm at the Bertram Building. The minimum party size is 2 people while the maximum can be customized to accommodate your party. The first two tickets cost $125 each, with the following tickets priced at $79 each.

Paranormal Investigation Details

Prices: Tickets for the Paranormal Investigation Experience are $59 per person, not including tax or gratuity. Tickets for the PRIVATE paranormal investigation are $125 for the first two tickets, with the following tickets priced at $79 each.
Minimum Party Size: We require at least 2 guests to run the experience.
Max Party Size: The maximum party size is 10. Please Contact us for groups or teams larger than 10.
Age Concerns: Due to subject content, we recommend ages 13 and up, however we can tailor content to younger guests.
When & Where: Guests will meet their guide at The Clay Pit at 10:30PM. Please do not be late.
Investigation Length: The experience lasts approximately 2 hours.
Food & Drinks: Kitchen and bar close at 10:00PM. Guests are welcome to arrive early to enjoy a sit down meal, or order food and drink to go during the experience. No outside food or drink allowed.
Gratuity: Your spiritual guide works very hard to provide a safe and unique experience. Please show them some love. Here are a couple of recommended percentages: 18% Good, 20% Great, 25% Amazing! Cash, Venmo, Cash App and other digital payments all accepted.
Reservation Policy: Please note, space is very limited and others cannot book once your spots are reserved. Therefore, no-shows, same-day cancellations, and tickets canceled with less than 48 hours notice cannot be refunded. Tickets canceled 7 days or more before your investigation will be refunded in full. Experiences cancelled with 2 to 7 days notice will receive a 50% refund.

Equipment Used

Spirit Box: The P-SB7 works by scanning the FM band and AM band along with a unique high frequency synthetic noise, a.k.a. white noise, where spirit voices seemingly are able to form words.
EMF Detector: Entities are said to emit electromagnetic energy and these detectors can detect unexplained fluctuations in electromagnetic fields.
REM Pod: This device emits its own electromagnetic field (EMF) and signals any disruptions that enter that field.
Thermal Camera: This camera measures the temperature of different objects and entities in the room - including the ones you cannot see!
Digital Voice Recorder: Recorders are often used in paranormal investigations to pick up any voices or sounds that may not be heard in the moment.
Cat Balls: Yes, cat balls. These cat toys are often used in paranormal investigations as they are motion activated and light up when someone (or something) touches them.
